JEEP DRIVING SAFARI

One of the most exciting adventures in Crete is exploring the island in an off-road vehicle. Our Jeep Safari tour offers you the best of the best: open-top jeep vehicles for unobstructed views of the valleys, mountains and other cultural highlights.

We take you to the hard-to-find places and away from the crowds for spectacular views and the excitement of traveling off-road in the unique landscapes of Crete – all in one day!

We avoid all the usual sites and concentrate on an action-packed day full of scenic beauty and fun. Our professional Safari leader will guide you throughout the day taking you to places that even most local people do not know exist. A stop for swimming is also programmed at the Libyan Sea.

This excursion does not include drivers therefore the clients that wish to participate should be able to drive.

The Jeep Safari is ideal for all age groups and it is a superb way of getting to know Crete Island. Enjoy!

LUXURY JEEP SAFARI

Enjoy exploring off road in new, chauffer driven and guided, air conditioned seven front facing seat Luxury Jeeps.

All the fun of the usual Jeep experience, but without the dust!

Discovery Safaris are offering this unique experience in a full day excursion. The safari heads south, both on and off road, giving ample opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of rural Crete, remote villages and, of course, chance to enjoy the scenery with many photo opportunities. We also stop for a leisurely lunch in a traditional village tavern at the south, and there will be opportunity for a swim in the Libyan Sea.

We vary the route of the safari in order to take advantage of the changing scenery the wild and traditional life of Southern Crete. We promise you a fun packed, memorable day in rural southern Crete.

The jeep will collect you from your hotel, we provide the meal and at the end of the safari, return you pleasantly tired, safe and happy to your hotel! An adventurous experience in a different way!

QUAD & BUGGY SAFARI

We run two safaris daily in the morning and in the afternoon, where you have the opportunity for an exciting and fun experience.

(Both routes are the same, or sometimes can be differ if the group has experience on driving.)

ROUTE 1    9:30 – 13:30     &    ROUTE 2    16:00 – 20:00

We leave our base taking a route that heads up to the mountains. We will travel through impressive gorges with amazing archeological formations and cross shallow rivers to reach our next destination. We will encounter some incredible wildlife and visit traditional 11th to 12th Cretan villages that are not on the map. We will make several stops on our route, including a stop at a traditional kafenion .

This is a trip you, your family and friends will enjoy and remember for a long time.

• Both safaris include free sandwiches, mineral water and transfers to and from your hotel.
• There will also be plenty of photo opportunity along the way, so make sure toto bring your camera.
• All our vehicles are thoroughly checked before departure.
